👶🏻 Homemade Cerelac for Babies 6 Months & Above
A wholesome, preservative-free blend — made with love & tradition for your little one’s first foods.
🔸 Ingredients:
▪️Wheat
▪️Oats
▪️Rice
▪️Green Moong Dal
▪️Nachni (Ragi)
▪️Almonds
▪️Cardamom (Elaichi)
▪️Fennel Seeds (Saunf)
▪️Nigella Seeds (Kalonji)
🔹 How we Prepare the Cerelac Powder:
1. Wash all ingredients thoroughly.
2. Sun-dry for 2–3 days. Cover with a thin muslin cloth to prevent dust or insects.
3. Roast all ingredients on low flame in a dry pan (no oil).
4. Let cool completely.
5. Grind finely 5–7 times to get a smooth powder.
6. Strain to remove any coarse particles.
7. Store in an airtight container inside the fridge – lasts up to 6 months.
🔸 How to Serve to Baby (6 months+)
1. In a pan, add ½ tsp pure ghee on low flame.
2. Add 1–2 tsp Cerelac powder (as per baby's appetite).
3. Mix well and add milk.
4. Stir until it forms a semi-solid consistency (around 2 minutes).
5. Add a pinch of sugar or salt (optional – start plain if preferred).
6. Cool & feed fresh. ❗Do not reuse leftovers – always prepare fresh.
